Newsletter for the Week of May 17th

This week we successfully completed our Spring FastBridge testing window for students. These assessments help us measure student growth in reading and math, identify strengths and areas for support, and guide our instructional planning as we prepare for the final weeks of the school year and begin planning for next year. Family FastBridge reports will be sent home later this week so you can review your child’s progress and growth. We encourage families to take a few moments to celebrate the hard work students have shown throughout the year.

As part of our ongoing commitment to school safety, we will be conducting our second semester lockdown drill on Wednesday. These drills are an important opportunity for students and staff to practice our safety procedures in a calm, age-appropriate, and supportive manner. Our district utilizes the Standard Response Protocol developed by the I Love U Guys Foundation an organization that provides research-based safety resources and training used by schools across the country. We encourage families to review the information and resources available on their website if you would like to learn more about the protocols and language students may hear during safety drills at school.  Click here to read the rest of this week's newsletter.
