As we head into the week of March 9th, we are one week away from our 3rd–5th grade students starting the Wisconsin Forward Exam, the statewide assessment that helps us measure how well students are progressing toward Wisconsin’s academic standards in reading, math, and other key areas. While no single test tells the whole story of a child’s learning, this assessment provides helpful information for our school and district as we evaluate programs, identify strengths, and determine where additional support may be needed. Families can help students feel confident and ready by encouraging a good night’s sleep, making sure they eat a healthy breakfast, and helping them arrive at school on time each day. Most importantly, remind your child to simply try their best we are proud of the hard work our students put in every day. Our whole school will be cheering them on over the next month.
